They're the Mall's Best Friends
I've been asked thousands of times what I think about Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister. Personally, I really dislike Abercrombie & Fitch. To me, it's Tommy Hilfiger's sluttyer and hyper-annoying cousin. Of course, I have friends who swear by A&F but it's just a stupid chain to me. Plus I'll never forget the time I tried on a pair of cords there that began right above my suzie. That's just wrong.I know Hollister is Abercrombie's sister store or whatever but I actually like it. Maybe it's because they call girls bettys and guys dudes but I think it's a great store to get basic sweaters and t-shirts. Granted, they can be a bit expensive but they're good quality and as long as you don't buy everything there it's all cool. Besides, it's got such a great laid back atmosphere that you can't help but enjoy it. And I'm planning on applying for a job at the local hollister.
Alright. It is partly because I would love to work at a store where your boss calls everyone dudes and bettys but I do need the work experience

mmm ur right. a&f needs to die, but hollsiter's jeans fit amazingly and can be half the price of a&f ones.
I don't like either. A&F's stuff, considering its quality, is just plain overpriced. I'll pay eighty dollars for jeans when the hem isn't coming out, for God's sake.
And Hollister has a very puka shell wearing, Dooney and Bourke Hearts Bag toting, bra strap showing feel to me. I.e., vaguely slutty and not good.
blah i hate abercrombie and fitch haha but im the girl thats get dragged in by their bimbo best friend who buys the shirts that rip into shreads and teh pants that gain huge holes.
I bought a sweet coat from Abercrombie and Fitch, but I get angry every time I walk in there because the t-shirts are literally forty bucks. It's the same with Hollister, and both stores' clothes are boring. I'd rather be a cheapskate and get some cute clothes from Gadzooks.

Hi, i saw your site in Ellegirl and decided i would come check it out. You have amazing opinions on fashion. I used to only wear A&F and Hollister, but now its all you see on everyone. I didn't like having the same exact wardrobe as everyone else. Now i shop in thrift stores and online with the occasional buy of A&F jeans.

Once I was dragged into A&F by my friend, and, as I was just walking aimlessly around the store waiting for her to finish, I happened across an adorable little wool-and-cashmere shrug on sale for only $20. The universe spun on its axis, the sky turned purple; in essence, it was amazing. A&F has held a special place in my heart since then. I've yet to experience a miracle in Hollister, but my eyes are wide open.

yeah. evvverryone at my school is obsessed with the usual .. AE , HCO , A&F. I mean , their stuff is really cute (expensive too , but oh well) & i would buy alot of stuff but its stupid how people think you have to wear that to be cool. if its cute , buy it . not b/c you want to be cool.
ps - hollister is great for the beach but dont be stupid & wear it up skiing like i saw some girls doing. sand & snow dont mix.

i'd like to say that A&F is amazing and i absolutely love it. I also adore Hollister. But what people don't realize is these brands do go on sale and its awesome. If you look at the clearance rack, most of the close are still in season and are only $6-$15..yeah < $6!!b>,
